Replicant is an ecosystem for crafting conversations, with in-house deep-learning algorithms we’ve built from scratch that allow our Thinking Machines™ to listen, think, and interact with the world. We have also built a suite of tools for conversation design and development, monitoring, testing, continuous learning, and constant improvement.


That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Quality Engineer with strong automation and communication skills to efficiently test and build quality checks for our customer-facing Thinking Machines™. You will have the opportunity to improve our processes where necessary, implement clean communication between various internal and external systems, explore Conversational UIs, and help level up our growing team.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in initiatives to drive quality within the organization
  • Review recorded calls to identify issues and make suggestions for improvement
  • Track time and effort on ongoing tasks and provide regular updates
  • Participate in regular team meetings and provide input and support where needed.
  • Work as an integrated member of a fully remote, cross-functional Scrum team
  • Work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and customers to ensure our products are the best they can be
  • Manage internal and external bugs and effectively triage them with respective team members
  • Review and improve datasets for NLU models
  • Ownership; we know that we don’t know everything and want your help to be part of the solutions
  • Solving interesting challenges as not all of the problems we encounter have frameworks or well-defined solutions


What You'll Bring


  • Call center experience is a plus
  • Open Minded and independent thinker who likes to own and solve challenging and complex problems
  • Experience with cloud hosting providers such as AWS or GCP
  • A strong sense of ownership and customer empathy — we work very closely with our internal teams and external customers. Maintaining positive working relationships with them is paramount to the success of our business
  • Experience with testing IVR systems or voice bots is a plus
  • Strong team player - we work in small product teams that work very closely together and are constantly collaborating in order to move as fast as possible
  • You are interested in exploring the nuance and aesthetic of conversations
  • Thrive in high-paced interactive team environments
  • Willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks as needed
  • Proven track record with 1+ years of experience testing SaaS products or related field
  • Experience using JIRA to manage workload including but not limited to creating bugs, reviewing user stories, and creating tickets
  • Excellent communication skills and a vivid imagination
  • B.S. or greater in Computer Science or a related field (math, physics, engineering)
  • Experience creating detailed test cases in a test management tool such as TestRail or Zephyr
