Senior Quality Assurance(Qa) Engineer

Our Client in the Healthcare industry is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and user experience, to drive continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies, driving efficiency and effectiveness in testing efforts.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Design and execute both manual and automated tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software features and functionalities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to proactively drive quality improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on product functionality, usability, and performance from a quality perspective.
• Identify and document defects, issues, and enhancement opportunities, and work closely with development teams to facilitate their resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the testing process.
• Develop, implement, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and security.

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior QA team members.
• Thorough understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or similar languages used for test automation.
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and load testing is a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Experience with using Postman to test API.
