Auxo Recruitment is seeking a hands-on QA Lead who will shape and lead the QA efforts from the ground up. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned QA professional to define, implement, and evangelize QA best practices within the organization.

Role Overview:

As the QA Lead, you will be the driving force behind establishing the QA practice, ensuring that the product meet the highest quality standards. You will be a pivotal individual contributor with substantial experience in both manual and automated testing. Your role will encompass influencing the testing strategy for various application types, creating and executing test plans, and taking ownership of the defect management process for assigned projects. While not a managerial position, you will collaborate closely with external resources and various cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded at every stage of our development process.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence testing strategies for different application types, including web, client/server, mobile, and data analytics.
• Uphold a growth mindset and lead by example, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure product quality.
• Thrive in a startup environment, taking ownership and embracing the challenges and opportunities it presents.
• Exhibit empathy and strong feedback skills to promote effective collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
• Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Demonstrate expertise in various test strategies, including smoke, sanity, functional, regression, integration, data-integrity, end-to-end, system, and performance testing.
• Build and nurture a QA practice from scratch, advocating QA best practices across the organization.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Drive the defect management process, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues.
• Utilize automated test solutions and proficiently work with test management tools to streamline testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with automated test solutions and test management tools.
• Excellent understanding of various test strategies and their applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic startup environment, taking initiative and ownership.
