Quality Assurance Lead Jobs

Our BC-based client requires the need of 2 QA Leads to provide QA and control services for development and support on two IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with project compliance with standards for records management and information management.
• Coordinate with the various leads to identify and track against quality checkpoints in the various areas (e.g.: configuration, integration, data conversion, testing, organizational change management, training, etc.).
• Ensure privacy and security deliverables include business specific details.
• Assist with project compliance with the standard privacy and security process and policies.
• Validate and verify that software meets the intended business and technical requirements, including in an agile, iterative, and/or DevOps environment.
• Implement operational techniques and activities to fulfill Project requirements for Risk identification, analysis, and control.
• Led and coordinate the work of a test team through system integration and production verification testing.
• Collaborate with the business-specific Product Owner to prioritize backlog, maintain prioritizations, and track decisions and definitions throughout the project.
• Provide testing, using modern scripting and automated tools where applicable for the following testing categories: unit testing, user acceptance testing in sprints, functional & regression test automation, exploratory testing, integration testing, performance testing, test data creation (production data masking, synthetic generation, etc.), test-driven development integration, service virtualization, and manual testing.
• Liaise with the working group to determine requirements and document as required according to the Software Development Life Cycle or Agile deliverables or other methodology as required.
• Analyze and document requirements for UI/UX product development – wireframes, high fidelity screen designs.
• Report as needed on quality checkpoints to project management.
• Implement operational techniques and activities to fulfill Project requirements for quality.
• Assist with Financial Risk and Controls Reviews
• Develop user acceptance testing, toolkit, and oversight.
• Assist with the development of Security and Threat Risk Assessments (STRA).
• Coordinate Risk Control Tracking, Measurement, and Control activities (e.g., RAID log reviews and decisions).
• Directly support the Product Owner and Product Development resources, and ensure requirements are documented, in time frames defined by the project within an Agile methodology.
• Plan and execute systematic activities to address compliance activities required by the Project to fulfill requirements.
• Assist with regulatory reviews and audits.
• Document and define test strategies, test plans, test cases, and lead execution.
• Lead a multifaceted team in the planning and execution of systematic activities to provide confidence that the product or service will fulfill requirements for quality.
• Investigate bugs to determine possible root causes and provide detailed information about bugs in the bug tracker tool.
• Conduct internal audits to verify if the intended solution or product meets compliance requirements before Go-Live.
• Provide test reports and escalate issues according to severity.
• Assist with the development of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).

Required Experience:

Proposed Consultants should have experience delivering at least one IM/IT project within the past eight (8) years that demonstrate experience in all of the below-listed skill sets. It is not required that each project demonstrate all of the skills required, but that across the projects provided in the submission, the experience below is met:

• Three (3) years of experience managing the quality of the delivered business solution to ensure it meets the client’s quality expectations by:
• Cloud-based COTS Solutions,
• Developing and presenting business cases including feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses of solution alternatives,
• Three (3) years of experience interacting professionally with a wide variety of people in diverse roles (e.g., executives, contractors, technical experts, naive users) to develop and implement:
• Two (2) years of experience managing effective communications with project stakeholders at all levels from diverse business units.
• Regression Testing
• Developing comprehensive quality assurance and test plans, and
• User Acceptance Testing
• Modeling and documenting technical solutions,
• Training/education materials, and
• Defining and documenting product for development and ongoing support, and
• Quality Assurance Measurement and Tracking
• Automated business processes,
• End-to-end Testing
• Three (3) years of experience planning and implementing quality assurance and testing activities including:
• Production Implementation
• SME Testing
• Application maintenance support.
• Appropriate service management processes,
• Quality assurance and control capabilities to support Agile and Iterative projects,
• Operational techniques and activities to fulfill requirements for quality,
• Develop presentations, reports, and submissions required by clients to secure approval and funding from Executive or Final Decision Makers, and develop work plans.
• Three (3) years of experience identifying, defining, modeling, and documenting business needs, which included:
• Ensuring structure, design, and development of the deliverables comply with applicable standards, and
• Executing quality assurance and testing activities including:
• Five (5) years of experience working as a Quality Assurance and Control Lead or Business Analyst (i.e. where the proposed Consultant held the business analyst role in a team of IT professionals and business users);
• Service agreements with service consumers and suppliers,
• Ensuring performance of technical reviews and audits and obtaining required approvals before implementation
