Quality Assurance Manager Jobs

Our client a leader in the housewares industry is expanding and looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.

Duties

• Maintaining retailer customers’ requirements and updating the QA team, providing consistent training for staff.
• Oversee and manage the QA Department and provide support, direction and coaching to team members.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and corporate.
• Identify and implement processes and system improvements.
• Oversee and coordinate QA staff located in overseas offices.
• Monitoring sustainability initiatives

Experience/Skills

• QA process skills
• DFMEA, FMEA, Pareto and fishbone analysis
• Data reporting, verification and analysis skills; attention to detail is an important asset;
• Thorough understanding of business process optimization;
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
• Understand goals and Key Performance Indicators
• Knowledge of quality management systems and practices;
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Problem solving skills
• Leadership skills
• Effective written and communication skills;
• Knowledge of internal audit and continuous improvement;
• Product management skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
