Assurance Manager Jobs

The Assurance Manager helps the partner by processing various clients’ requests, by planning and

reviewing engagements, and by supervising employees.

ProfilMain Responsibilities:

✓ Act as a resource person.

✓ Assigned employees to work together and grow

as professionals.

✓ Delegate and supervise work to control

engagements.

✓ Decide on time budgets to execute engagements.

✓ Appraise risk factors and plan audit engagements.

✓ Coordinate actions required with the

stakeholders.

✓ Review engagements per quality standards in

place (respect of standards, quality of

documentation).

✓ Review tax returns for individuals (T1),

corporations (T2), and trusts (T3).

✓ Produce and explain review notes to ensure they

are resolved in a timely manner.

✓ Review and submit engagements to Quality

Control.

✓ Fulfill the requirements of Ordre des CPA du

Québec mentor member.

✓ Participate in business development.

✓ Fully commit to the success of the firm and feel

fully involved in its results.

✓ Anticipate financial and human challenges.

✓ Promote an integrated and global vision that

considers both internal and external

environments.

Requirements

✓ 7-10 years of experience in audit, incl. at

least 3 years in a management position.

✓ CPA-Auditor title (CA, CGA).

Language and Technical Knowledge

✓ Advanced French and English.

✓ Advanced knowledge of CaseWare / View,

Taxprep, and DtMax.

✓ In-depth knowledge of financial

information and audit standards.

✓ In-depth tax knowledge.
