Position: Software Engineer - Microservices

What you will do:

• Champion the implementation of automated testing, especially in contexts where tolerance-based testing is utilized.
• Collaborate with product owners and scientists to grasp the essence of radar and optical remote sensing imagery and its practical applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, and Elastic.
• Apply your experience in parallel programming and multithreaded design to your work.
• Implement performance-enhancing measures in production solutions.
• Utilize DevOps tools and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Develop front-end web components using Python, Django, or Flask.
• Utilize your experience and judgment to strategize and fulfill objectives across a range of tasks.
• Employ your exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Implement Design Thinking methodologies to create outstanding client experiences.
• Engage in hands-on backend development, encompassing API creation and deployment on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Architect comprehensive solutions from end to end, including the required tools for implementation and testing.
• Utilize your grasp of data fabric concepts to enhance development.
• Leverage your expertise in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication solutions to craft professional-grade, highly scalable APIs.
• Thrive in an agile environment collaborating with multiple teams.

What you need:

• Proven capability to design, develop, and implement scalable microservices solutions.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with the geospatial and remote sensing industry.
• Ability to architect comprehensive solutions.
• Experience in web UI design and development.
• Minimum 5 years of professional development experience, including at least 1 year of full stack development.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication solutions for developing high-quality, scalable APIs.
