Property Administrator/Project Coordinator

Matrix Labour Leasing is looking to hire a Property Administrator/Project Coordinator in Edmonton AB. This role is primarily responsible for the general administration and oversight of the property and to ensure that a superior level of cooperation, service and support is provided to Tenants. Pay Rate is $25 - $27/hr depending on experience.

Job Duties Include (but Not Limited To)

• Receive and schedule service requests
• Oversee and coordinate all office administration
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the building
• Provide Senior Property Manager with a list of leases coming up for renewal
• Enforce the terms of lease agreements
• Ensure terms of the lease agreements are met and administer damages/security deposits and charges
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with coordination of tenant move-ins and move-outs, as needed
• Assist with training on-site Hyphen team members
• Attend hearings and support by creating files, preparing evidence, and gathering back-up materials
• Take in vacancy notices, review rent ready and vacancy reports, age receivables and rent roles
• Draft collection notices, and monitor petty cash expenditures
• Promptly respond to resident issues and service requests. Resolve issues and complaints
• Ensure all tenants have provided current insurance certificates
• Process Capital Quotes, prepare Purchase Orders, and maintain data in a tracking sheet

Requirements

• Strong Computer Skills - Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Interest or actively working towards their PM
• 2+ years of related experience in a customer service or similar role
• General accounting knowledge
• High school diploma or GED
• Must demonstrate strong multitasking skills
• Self-motivated and able to remain calm and focused in high pressure situations
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication/ customer service skills
• Knowledgeable of Relevant Landlord-Tenant Laws

Work Conditions

• Variable hours throughout the week that may include evenings and weekends
• Overtime and on-call as required
