About the role:

We are seeking a Project Assistant role for our company to assist our Project Manager in delivering design projects for clients.This position is an ideal fit for a juniorengineer who wants to grow into a project manager in future. It is also an excellent fit for individuals who appreciate artistic elements and be proud to create decorative water features and fountains.

Responsibilities:

• Review sales quotes and shop drawings;
• Respond to Request For Information;
• Attend design and coordination meetings with Project Manager;
• Perform site visits and draft inspection reports;
• Coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and design aspects of the projects;
• Communicate with the drafter/designer for the detailed design intent;
• Prepare design fee proposals;

Requirements:

• One year or more technical experience in design or engineering for multi-residential and commercial buildings;
• Uncompromising attention to detail while reviewing work, conducting site visits, and documenting progress;
• BC Drivers License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Windows and Office;
• A passion for design and building aesthetics;
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
• One year of direct experience in designing building plumbing and HVAC;

Compensation: 50k-60k Salary, Medical Benefits; 3 month probation.
