Job Description
About Our Client
Our client, in the construction industry, is hiring a Project Accountant to join their team!
Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Controller and working closely with Project Managers, the Project Accountant is responsible for accounting, financial + operational reporting, and analysis
  • Bank and general ledger account reconciliations + analysis
  • Recording transactions, posting entries, preparing month-end close and internal financial reports
  • Construction draws and funding requests
  • Preparing financial reports and tracking project costs to budget and analyzing/ explain variances
Requirements
  • CPA Designation or pursuing would be an asset
  • Experience in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing sector
  • Post secondary education in Accounting, Business or related discipline
  • 5+ years' relevant experience including full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
