Reporting directly to the Controller, the Junior Accountant is responsible for month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and the processing, review, and analysis of financial information for the Company. The Junior Accountant will work both independently and collaboratively with the Finance, Marketing, Academics, IT and Customer Support teams. Maintaining excellent two-way communication with our Franchise partners and suppliers is essential. Ensuring information is organized and available is critical.
Own Your Brand – You will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting of one or more of the LaunchLife brands. Understanding the business behind the numbers will enable you to truly partner with our Franchisees and coworkers in supporting our end users.

Responsibilities
- Any other duties, as assigned.
- Assist with coding Accounts Payable invoices.
- Communicate with Franchise partners worldwide.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
- Maintain balance sheet and other GL schedules and prepare adjusting journal entries where needed.
- Assist with intercompany account reconciliations monthly.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and recurring invoices to customers.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Ensure procedural documentation is up-to-date and easily followed.
- Assist with Finance-related Help Desk inquiries.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and annual results for your business units.
Requirements
- Working toward CPA designation is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently.
- Ability to stay organized, keep track of deadlines and balance ongoing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or other post-secondary education.
