Liaise with Project Management team

Serve as a trusted advisor to the internal Project Management team

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent

Assisting the Controller with accounting and administrative duties including:

Preparing and maintaining inventory reports, vendor lists, aging reports, etc.

Completion of college degree in accounting or equivalent level of relevant education or equivalent level of experience

Minimum of 2 years previous experience in accounting with an emphasis on accounts receivable and collections

Effective interpersonal, and oral communication skills

Invoice, record revenue, collections, and monitor accounts receivable for the following:

All other daily/monthly/quarterly invoices for each company

Record and post all cash and credit card receipts

Knowledge and experience with finance software, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word and Outlook

Grade 12 education or equivalent

Two (2) years previous experience working in an accounting field

Previous experience with computerized accounting systems

Demonstrated willingness and ability to upgrade and broaden skills

A minimum 2-year accounting/bookkeeping experience and some post-secondary education in Accounting

Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of AX 2012

Deposit cheques using TD remote deposit capture

Perform accurate data entry of accounts payable invoices

Degree in Business Administration or Commerce majoring in Accounting or Finance or other relevant education;

Minimum of three (3) years' experience in finance and accounting type roles;

Assist in financial audit/review requirements, internal control audit and tax filing activities, as applicable;

Knowledge of IFRS and applicable internal controls concepts considered an asset;

Professional experience working with Netsuite

Analyze and post journals, produce data analysis and reports and assist with variance analysis

Review month-end close reports and call out problems you detect

§Solid experience with Quick Books Desktop and Excel

§Experience with personal tax preparation

§Some experience with corporate tax would be useful
