Production Team Lead Jobs

Leadership and Supervision:

·Provide strong leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive and efficient work

environment.

·Oversee the daily activities of the production team, ensuringtasks are completed on time and in accordance

withproduction schedules.

·Set clear expectations, assign tasks, and delegateresponsibilities to team members.

·Conduct regular performance evaluations and provideconstructive feedback to team members, fostering their

professional growth and development.

·Address any performance issues or conflicts within the team in a timely and effective manner.

·Collaborate with the health and safety team to investigate and implement corrective actions for incidents or

near misses.

Assembly and Production:

·Actively participate in product assembly in a clean manufacturing space (CMS) and general manufacturing

area, following the work instructions, demonstrating expertise, and setting high standards for quality and

efficiency.

·Ensure that all production activities are carried out in compliance with established procedures and quality

standards.

·Monitor assembly processes to identify opportunities for improvement, implement changes, and optimize

productivity.

·Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering ordesign, to resolve any technical or quality issues

that mayarise during assembly.

·Promote and enforce a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and company policies.

·Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow processes.

Personnel Training and Development:

·Assess the training needs of the production team and developtraining programs to enhance their skills and

knowledge.

·Conduct training sessions, both formal and on-the-job, to ensure the team is proficient in assembly techniques,

safety protocols, and quality control procedures.

·Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and

improvement.

·Identify high-potential individuals within the team and developsuccession plans to fill key positions in the

future.

Quality Control and Assurance:

·Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure theproduction of high-quality products that meet

customerspecifications.

·Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and addressany quality issues or deviations from standards.

· Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop andimplement quality improvement initiatives.

·Investigate customer complaints and product failures.

·Embrace and Maintain5S-Housekeeping Initiatives

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Education:

·A High School diploma is required, a post-secondary diploma in manufacturing/ assembly would be an asset

Experience:

5+ years of directly related manufacturing/assembly experience, preferably in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 regulated environment

·Ability to read from engineering drawings or schematics

Type:

Full-Time, Permanent, on-site

Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, overtime might be required.
