With the assistance of the Logistics Director, ensures that the areas of responsibility are properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed

3-5 years forklift experience in a shipping and receiving environment

Basic math skills for counting goods and related exercises

Good computers skills with the ability to work with ERP systems (Global Shop), email, etc. and related peripheral skills (scanners, etc.)

Serve as the Manager on Duty providing leadership during assigned shifts

College diploma in Operations Management; University Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience (Food industry strongly preferred) in a production management role

Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements.

Manage hourly staff and temporary staff scheduling; Analyze staff hours to ensure labor optimization.

Manage vacation requests for shift/crew, permanent and temporary staff.

Computer skills – Microsoft office, ERP

Process return shipments of various electronic components utilizing multiple warehouse management systems

Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking for accurate part numbers, quantities and ensuring material is in pristine condition

Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter

Oversee and perform the placement server racks on the datacenter floor utilizing laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy

Oversee and perform the population of electronic components and install cabling into server racks by following provided diagrams and schematics

Install rack hardware using various hand, power and measuring tools

·Set clear expectations, assign tasks, and delegateresponsibilities to team members.

·Assess the training needs of the production team and developtraining programs to enhance their skills and

5+ years of directly related manufacturing/assembly experience, preferably in ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 regulated environment

·Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.

·Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

·Provide strong leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a positive and efficient work

Troubleshoots equipment failures, determines work around and reports deficiencies and problems to Production Manager

Increases quality and production through experimentation and increasing knowledge.

Manages team accountability including coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;

Manufacturing or heavy industry experience

Experience supervising teams / crews

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude

Problem resolution escalation, SRI, By-Pass Management
