CultureSmith has partnered with a Trico Homes on their current search to add new Product Development Designer to the group.

Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Make construction site visits to new models and showhomes
- Research other home designs and building materials
- Design cost effective elevations to meet community architectural requirements
- Produce blackline and request rendering for marketing brochure materials
- Participate in showhome planning and committee meetings
- Work on and manage showhome & sales center production files
- Design and develop new models from conceptual designs into detailed construction blueprints using AutoCAD to meet current market demands, demographic group needs and work within given budgets
- Improve & maintain standard plans & options
- Conduct regular visits to both Trico and competitor products
- Work closely with the drafting & estimating department to maintain standard plans consistency
- Communication and integrate with architectural control coordinators, developers, trades and municipal or city officials
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing department to support product vision to meet current market demand
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of building codes and land use bylaw requirements
- Minimum 3 Years of experience in residential single family construction
- Have your own vehicle to make site visits (mileage will be compensate)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft office, Adobe Acrobat and Revit will be an asset
- Architectural Technologies Diploma or equivalent;
