- Stay informed on latest design trends and emerging technologies
- Be the resident expert of all things design
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other designers to craft and architect the Blurb platform
- Building and maintaining components on the Blurb platform
- Any other duties as they arise from time to time
- Conduct user research and testing to understand user flows and wireframes
- Lead the design process for our products from concept to launch
- Excellent eye for design, color, and composition
- Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision technologies is a plus
- Strong understanding of Javascript and its applications in motion graphics development
- Expert level in motion graphics development using After Effects and ExtendScript
- Multitasker with the ability to handle multiple priorities / projects simultaneously
- At least 5 years experience in product design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your design skills. A Portfolio is a must.
- Able to manage your time efficiently, in a self-directed work environment
- Excellent at communicating using any medium (chat, email, voice, video)
- Adaptable, self-driven, and excited to work on innovative ways to deliver content
- Inventive in developing effective solutions while collaborating with a remote team
