Product Engineering Designer Jobs

Experience working closely with our Engineering department, to communicate all Engineering Changes and New Product releases, is a plus.

Assist in development of Field Product/Service Bulletins and Product Literature.

Oversee the final stages of our Engineering Change Notice process, to finalize all tasks assigned to the Technical Documentation department.

You will participate and influence the design decisions for banking digital experiences that touch millions of our customers every day.

You will produce compelling visual deliverables to illustrate desired customer experiences and provide detailed specifications for software developers.

You will provide feedback and coaching to other Designers at different levels of experience.

A minimum of 2 + years of experience designing responsive web and/or native mobile software applications.

Experience or background in FinTechs or other financial related product fields.

Experience in user experience, visual design, and prototyping for web/mobile interfaces

Take lead on new design-led challenges, and leverage user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping to deliver solutions.

Collaborate independently with Product, Research, Engineering, and Design team partners to understand user problems and get feedback on design solutions.

Partner with UX Research and participate in user research studies to validate hypotheses and ensure product usability and consistency.

At least 5 years experience in product design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your design skills.

Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision technologies is a plus

Inventive in developing effective solutions while collaborating with a remote team

Able to manage your time efficiently, in a self-directed work environment

Lead the design process for our products from concept to launch

Collaborate closely with engineers and other designers to craft and architect the Blurb platform

3+ years of Graphic Design experience ideally in a product, textile, or fashion industry

Product Packaging or Product Photography experience would be an asset

Post secondary training would be an asset

Proficient in Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

A strong artistic pallet for color, trends, and creative design

Excellent communication, self motivation and ability to work with a team

Investigate product designs to meet customer requirements

Structured problem-solving experience and exposure to Lean principles

Experience using 3D modelling tools such as, Solid Edge, is a strong asset

Experience with product development testing, an asset

Design revisions using Solid Edge 3D CAD software

Support Development Team projects; exposure to mechanics, electronics, high power electrical, software and systems engineering

3+ years of experience in Design of Plastic Injection Molds

Must be able to work independently to scheduled workloads

Analyze new tooling opportunities for Feasibility issues and concerns

Overlay existing tooling for part variations and provide tooling impact studies to appropriate personnel

Design plastic injection tools to standards of the customer and Mega Mold International.

Interact with internal personnel and customers at various stages to ensure quality tooling

Experience operating and interfacing with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills

Strong initiative; able to self-manage; comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards

Hands-on experience writing user stories is must

Business analysis experience in the Commercial Property and Casualty insurance industry on Guidewire PC/BC/CC

Collaborate with the team lead, project manager and project engineer to develop design criteria and drawing layouts.

Previous experience in Heavy Construction, Mining or Fabrication

Minimum 5 years experience in Drafting and Design

Expert Knowledge in the operation of the following software:

Design and Drafting for temporary works related to the construction activities of the project.

Create preliminary drawings and rough layouts or sketches.

Develop and oversee the product engineering team to meet our growth requirements and to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Provide technical leadership to designers, technical specialists, and product engineers / program managers.

Minimum eight years automotive product engineering experience with a minimum 3-4 years of direct supervisory experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Product Design, APQP, launch and manufacturing experience.

Follow and update, as necessary, all IATF 16949 product engineering systems.

Manage design changes through all the cycles of the change management process.

3 to 5 years’ experience within the aviation industry preferred with experience in Airframe Design.

CAD design experience is preferred with Catia V5.

Experience with System Installation Design.

Experience with Model Based Definition and 2D/3D Design.

Generate conceptual designs for airframe and system installation design.

Good Project Coordination / Project Management skills – organized, efficient, works to tight deadlines.

Using available information from the Sales and Project Management Team to complete projects according to strict deadlines.

Project Management: Provide help coordinating with production on what materials need to be ordered first (i.e. long lead time items)

Purchasing component: As required by the purchasing manager.

Good working knowledge and command of Solidworks / AutoCAD

Strong mathematics and arithmetic skills

• Solid knowledge in hydraulics and mechanical engineering

• Knowledge of API, HI, ASME and ASTM standards

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work well with others

• Knowledge of ANSYS Fluent is an asset

• Experience in programming with Visual Basics or C++ is an asset
