Mechanical Designer/Engineer Jobs

As a Mechanical Technologist with Greenheart Technologies, you will be responsible for a variety of structural, mechanical and equipment design and manufacturing support. The Mechanical Technologist position is a technical role responsible for calculations, drawings, design, drafting and support through manufacturing and commercialization of customized equipment and machinery. At Greenheart, we work across a wide variety of industries from oil & gas machinery, mining equipment and facilities, to aerospace.

Responsibilities

·Equipment design and completion of shop drawings

·Project manage builds through 3^rd party fabricators (Some travel may be required)

·Mechanical calculations as required (FEA preferred but not required)

·API, AWS, and CSA calculations and others related to oilfield equipment

·Understand and reduce manufacturing costs

·Design Verification and Validation

·Work as a member of a team including engineering, automation, production and sales teams

·Other related responsibilities including fieldwork as required

Qualifications

·Eligible for or currently C.E.T.

·5+ years of experience in an equipment manufacturing environment including oilfield, agricultural, mining or commercial equipment is required

·Experience with 3-D Modelling and design (Solidworks preferred) is required

·Must be able to read hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics

·Experience in design of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic equipment is an asset

·Microsoft Office: strong excel skills are required

·Ability to customize designs to multiple and specific customer requirements
