As a key member of our Supply Chain & Operations team, reporting directly to the Director of Supply Chain & Business Operations, the Procurement & Inventory Manager will plan, direct and manage procurement and inventory levels. This role will also be responsible for strategic sourcing, negotiating of contracts, managing supplier performance, and managing and forecasting inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage all purchasing expenditures and inventory levels; ensuring the needs of the business are met from all perspectives. Meet on a regular basis with Finance to ensure inventory dollars are being utilized to goals.
• Accountable for conducting inventory analysis to solve supply issues quickly.
• Liaise with principals at a local and international level to monitor stock levels and expenditure against budget.
• Ensure inventory turns are acceptable while maintaining service levels.
• Working closing with the Director of Supply Chain & Business Operations, help to identify strategies and tactics for improving operation efficiencies while improving service levels and reducing inventory levels as well as operation costs.
• Monitor short- and long-term supply requirements and develop systems and strategies to meet the needs of the business.
• Proactively engage with all major principals to enable a healthy business relationship with a focus on the needs of the company.
• Growth and development of all purchasers will be critical to the success of this role.
• In conjunction with the purchasing and product management teams, ensure the integrity of data for all skus in the ERP system.
• Develop logistical capabilities in order to avoid shortages or wastage or manage crisis when it occurs.
• Manage the Supply Chain of products into the company, including developing existing suppliers, to ensure quality, cost-effective and efficient supply of goods. Must be able to identify new suppliers, if required.
• Manage all contracts and agreements within area of responsibility.
• Responsible for planning and forecasting requirements, along with the management of slow and obsolete items across the business.

• High level of communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to deal with people at all levels.

• Advanced proficiency in inventory related ERP & MRP software.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Problem solving skills.
• Experience in purchasing / procurement of high volume, fast turning product.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in supply chain management or General Business.
• 5+ years’ experience in the Procurement & Supply Chain field in a high volume environment.
