About This Position
The Manager/ Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for engaging with the supply chain and driving equipment supply and EPC contracts independently, primarily focused on equipment procurement, including BESS and modules. This position will report directly to our Principal, Procurement and work closely with the Development, Engineering, Construction, Project Finance and Legal teams.
Responsibilities And Duties
  • Engage and build/maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s supply chain strategy.
  • Manage contract amendments and post-contract actions
  • Perform research and analysis in order to identify potential vendors
  • Structure, negotiate and execute equipment supply contract transactions
  • Coordinate with different relevant departments to achieve the goals above
  • Lead and manage equipment supply requests for proposals
Qualifications And Skills
  • 4-8+ years of experience in equipment procurement for utility-scale PV, battery, wind or natural gas projects
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, Excel, MS Teams, and other collaboration tools
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, and concisely summarize complex ideas
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with external parties
  • Strong quantitative skills

Physical And Sensory Requirements
  • Position requires some travel for company-wide meetups, conferences, site visits, and factory vistis: ~8 weeks total through a calendar year.
  • Mostly sedentary work; using standard office equipment including: a computer, keyboard, and telephone.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 base salary with 20-30% annual target bonus
