LeverageTek is actively seeking a Procurement Supervisor for a permanent position with its Gatineau-based customer.
Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Gatineau, QC, on a hybrid basis.
Key Tasks
- Provide guidance and support to the procurement team and other departments on procurement-related matters
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, streamline procurement operations, and maximize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, procedures, and guidelines related to tactical procurement activities
- Other duties as required
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Plan and coordinate procurement activities across various categories to ensure timely execution
- Perform activities that support company objectives and improve efficiencies
- Prepare and present reports, training documentation, presentations, and other supporting documents on procurement performance, key metrics, and status updates
Key Qualifications
- Previous experience with ERP systems and procurement software (D365 or IFS preferably)
- 5+ years of experience in procurement with supervisory/ demonstrable experience in managing tactical procurement activities
- Experience in onboarding new vendors/suppliers, converting PRs to POs, entering data into 2 ERP systems, reviewing and improving policies/processes for efficiency, and handling the procure to pay process
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, detailed oriented with strong accuracy skills
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams
