Centerline (Windsor) Limited is looking for a self-motivated, reliable individual to fill the position of Pipe Fitter in Training responsible for assisting the Lead Pipe Fitters’ while training and developing the skills of a Pipe Fitter. This position reports to the Pipe Fitting Build Group Leader.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements
• Assist the pipe fitter on component assembly and installation of valves, regulators, filters, pressure switches, manifolds, and other fittings
• Assist with assembly and installation of pipe/tubing/hose for air, water, and gas systems
• Assemble main air and water drops and run supply lines to equipment from main drops
• Responsible for learning table bending, hand bending, thread pipe, groove pipe, PVC pipe, layouts, and component assembly
• Help tube or hose fixtures, material handlers, robots, weld guns, conveyors, and more

Education And Experience

• Secondary School diploma
• Experience in blueprint reading, measurement, problem resolution
• Mechanical aptitude

CenterLine will mentor the successful applicant on the skills and abilities required to do bending, measuring, threading, flaring, assembly, clamp systems, soldering, routing lines, mounting, etc. We will also provide the successful applicant with training of the functionality of welding and metal working equipment in our facility.
