Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer in Training to join our growing Process team in Mississauga, ON.
Reporting to the Manager of Process the Process Engineer in Training will conduct process engineering work to a high professional and ethical standard while growing his/her value to the Process Group and the reputation of Lycopodium.
The tasks you'll perform

• Interpret metallurgical test work.
• Commissioning assistance
• Prepare draft of technical documents
• Prepare draft flow diagrams
• Develop draft process design criteria
• Carry out mass and energy balances
• Carry out mathematical and statistical calculations

The expertise you'll bring

• Demonstrate a high standard of verbal and written communication.
• Use of modelling software: LIMN, METSIM, SysCAD
• Ability to perform without direct supervision
• More than 1-3 years post graduating.
• University Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equal.
• Ability to achieve high standards within budget and schedule constraints.
