Job Description
Adecco is currently hiring temporary, full-time Assembly Workers to work midnights in Ottawa, ON, for one of our reputable clients, Sanmina. Sanmina designs, manufactures, and repairs some of the most complex and innovative optical, electronic and mechanical products in the world. In this role you will operate various manufacturing equipment to manufacture products primarily in the industrial, medical, defense, aerospace, and automotive, sectors. This role requires previous manufacturing experience.

  • Shifts: Various days | 12:00AM - 8:00AM
  • Pay rate: $18.00/Hour

Responsibilities:
  • Operates various manufacturing equipment according to documented processes and defined schedules and loads
  • Uses pneumatic tools and equipment as well as hand tools for assembly purposes and provides support to the Team Lead
  • Identifies and applies ECO modifications or other instructions
  • Uses a variety of current software to properly execute required computer transactions, such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel
  • Supports other company requirements when necessary
  • Identifies, articulates, and escalates problems for Technical Support and assists in gathering requested information
  • Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions
  • Assembles components according to specific drawings and procedures and process documentation
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and performance standards
  • Orders and ensures any printed labels are correct and transacted to the correct planned order on tracker
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge in product inspections, quality issues or concerns related to customer products
  • Willing to work with internal teams to identify process improvements and implement continuous improvement plans
  • Must be customer focused and able to articulate technical and/or quality issues to Team Lead
  • Minimum 1-2 years' related work experience
  • Keyboarding knowledge and good leadership skills to provide training and guidance to team members
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Able to read, interpret and comprehend kitting protocols, process documents, and instructions
