Light Assembler - Mornings

Celestica, a globally known electronics manufacturer in Mississauga, ON is looking for Morning Assemblers!

In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications. This role is a full-time position and requires the ability to work 40 hours weekly. • Able to set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used in the assembly process

• Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
• Location: Winston Churchill Blvd, and Unity Dr. in Mississauga ON
• Able to perform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an assembler, hand solder experience
• Great health screening process to ensure the safety of all associates
• You must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
• As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
• Convenient work location
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, consistently bending, and being able to pull carts
• Job type: Full-time contract, long-term with permanent opportunities
• Clean, open, and bright state of the artwork environment
• Able to lift, carry and maneuver material or equipment (up to 35lbs)
• Other tasks assigned by lead head/supervisor
• Weekly Pay + 4% Vacation Pay added to each cheque
• Use hand tools such as screw drivers to assemble units according to product specification
• Proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
