We are looking for motivated and reliable packers to help in our mission of Bringing Chocolate to Life!

Job summary Pack solid product such as molded drops, chunks, discs, bars from molding process into containers ensuring proper count or weight for shipment.

Position duties

• Prepare boxes for production line.
• Other duties as required
• Responsible for product quality, monitoring of all products produced on the line.
• Sort product that does not meet quality standards.
• Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order, report any defective materials missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor.
• Weight boxes and load onto pallet.
• Completing paperwork.
• Load finished molded product into boxes or super sacks.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
• Fork lift/truck experience is an asset.

Work Environment

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time; climb stairs, ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Regularly required to bend, stoop, reach to clean areas.
• 24/7 manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be required to work rotating 12 hour shifts. This means approximately 14 shifts per month.
• Daily exposure to noise, dust and a variation in temperature (hot/cold).
• Company provides uniform, hearing, eye and hair protection. Offers reimbursement for safety footwear and prescription safety glasses.

Wages/Benefits

• Paid personal time/annual vacation.
• Medical, dental, vision coverage and life insurance after 3 month probationary period.
• $2.00 per hour shift premium for night shift.
• Wages range between $18.55 and $19.38 per hour to start.
• Company paid pension plan (5% contributions at NO cost to the employee) after 1 year of service.
