Ensures quality and sanitation standards are met by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Assurance, and HACCP

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible

Ensures the efficient and effective use of equipment and material resources

Previous manufacturing experience is considered an asset.

Fork lift/truck experience is an asset.

Company provides uniform, hearing, eye and hair protection. Offers reimbursement for safety footwear and prescription safety glasses.

Ensure tools and equipment is in good working order, report any defective materials missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor.

Responsible for product quality, monitoring of all products produced on the line.

Prepare boxes for production line.

Other duties, responsibilities and assignments as required by the Supervisor or management.

Responsible for communicating all food safety and quality concerns to Management

Two to three years’ experience as a machine operator/operating food processing machinery or equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong sense of logic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in all areas of work

Grade 12 education or equivalent (proof required). Post-secondary education considered an asset

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Perform product changeovers, CIPs on the can filler, and equipment sanitation

Track packaging materials for usage/loss rates, maintain packaging machine performance logs, and participate in process improvement initiatives

Full knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

Full knowledge of and compliance with related Good Manufacturing Practices.

Full knowledge of and compliance with the EOF Work Instructions Manual.

Full knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Grade 12 education or equivalent.

Good computer / keyboard skills

Perform appropriate levels of cleanliness and housekeeping standards as outlined, consistent with the requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices.

Reads the production schedule and collects input from operators to understand goods movements, material requirements and key tasks for the shifts.

Handles cleaning requirements for common areas, including packaging storage rooms and clean up rooms

Functions in compliance with all GMP’s, safety requirements and all applicable standard operating procedures

1-2 years of Packaging Operator experience in a regulated environment

Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/fork trucks

Strong business development, customer service, operations analysis and project management experience are needed

Development of new product offerings with technical and financial planning and execution

Master’s or PhD degree in Biology, Immunology plus a minimum of 3-4 years experience working in a lab environment

Experience with Flow Cytometry and/or Mass Cytometry including sample preparation, instrumentation and FCS data analysis software.

Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Power BI, Access and general understanding of ERP concepts
