New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Organizational Change Management consultant to help our client support the implementation of a complex multi-year, multi-site regional EHR implementation. This role requires individuals who have worked on large, complex, and multi-stakeholder transformation technology implementation projects with a focus on Clinical Information Systems (CIS) in the health care sector. It will involve supporting execution related to both communication and change activities.
Responsibilities:
- Given the complexity and volume of work anticipated across all the teams, support ad-hoc requests as directed by the OCM lead
- Contribute to the creation and execution of regional and site communication plans, content, and materials to support awareness, change management and adoption in alignment with the OCM strategy and plans
- Closely collaborate and partner with other program team members to consider the evolving OCM needs of the program and impacted stakeholders at both the regional and local level
- Nurture a collaborative environment, and provide mentoring and coaching to others in supporting roles who aid in the execution of OCM activities and day-to day delivery
- Contribute to and support the development of OCM plans, deliverables, and activities (e.g., engagement and communications activities, end user facing materials, toolkits, status updates, presentations/updates).
- Help identify ways to pivot and adjust to ensure goals are being met throughout
- Act as the primary liaison and support for the site to identify their needs, as well as, understand the site level change management priorities to inform the overall OCM activities
- Ensure quality and consistency of all plans and OCM materials in alignment with standards set out by the program and organizational change management.
- Assess the effectiveness of change activities and proactively identify any potential risks that may impact the success of the OCM plan and ultimately the program.
- Coach, mentor and support the site transformation network in the day-to-day delivery of OCM activities
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills, people skills, written and oral communication skills
- Experience working in large teams within a multi-stakeholder environment (e.g., vendors and staff)
- Ability to work independently to solve problems
- Mentoring and coaching skills to guide and motivate team members both within OCM and at Site (as required)
- Acute attention to detail
- Relationship focused and a strong team builder
- CCMP or Prosci certification is an asset
- Self-motivated, problem solver, and critical thinker
- Proven success in delivering change activities on large, complex CIS / HIS implementation projects
- 5+ years of experience in Change Management
- Experience facilitating conversations with executive leadership and frontline staff
- Understand how to manage technology changes and programs within an enterprise environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in a clinical healthcare environments
- Customer / Patient Journey Mapping and User Experience is an asset
- Healthcare experience
- Collaborative and able to work with diverse stakeholder groups at all levels of an organization
- Competent in MS Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Creative with strong visual communication experience (e.g., executive level presentations that tells a story with crisp graphics).
- Solution oriented with an ability to adapt OCM strategies, plans and activities as a result of changing program and organizational needs, includes ability to guide oneself and the OCM team through such changes
- Strong visual presentation and content development experience
- U/X design experience is an asset
- User Empathy and Ethnographic experience is an asset
- Ability to translate clinical and technology concepts into meaningful communication mediums, tailored and appropriate for audience, channel, etc. for Clinical Information System / Hospital Information System Transformation
