Overview of Organizational Change Management Organizational Change Management (OCM) is a structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state. It is a holistic approach that focuses on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology. OCM helps ensure that the desired outcomes of a change initiative are achieved, and that the people affected by the change are supported throughout the transition. Detailed Job Description of Organizational Change Management Organizational Change Management professionals are responsible for leading and managing the people side of change within an organization. This includes developing and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. OCM professionals work with stakeholders to identify and manage anticipated resistance, and to develop and execute action plans for successful change. They also provide change management assessments, define requirements for change, and support the design, development, and delivery of change management initiatives. Organizational Change Management Job Skills Required• Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools

Organizational Change Management Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational development, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in organizational change management
• Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent certification
• Experience with change management software and tools
• Experience leading and managing change initiatives
Organizational Change Management Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Knowledge of organizational development and design
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Knowledge of business process improvement techniques
• Knowledge of organizational dynamics and culture
• Knowledge of communication strategies and techniques

• Experience leading and managing change initiatives
• Experience developing and implementing change management strategies
• Experience assessing the impact of change on individuals and teams
