Operations Manager - Apparel

Randstad Canada is seeking an Operations Manager for a full time, permanent position with an athletic apparel company. The role is based in Winnipeg and will require some travel across Canada to other branches.
Preference will be given to candidates with heat press, screen press or embroidery production experience. This role requires comprehensive production and day to day operations management for the apparel department.
Advantages

• $65,000-80,000 annual salary, based on experience
• Monday to Friday Daytime hours

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team that manages heat press, screen press and embroidery
• Hire and train new production team members
• Monitor quality while meeting deadlines
• Manage shift and production schedules

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to travel within Canada
• Moderate computer skills
• Experience managing staff and training new employees
• Previous experience with apparel decoration (heat press, screen press, or embroidery)
