Our client is a large, multi-national organization with a transit-friendly warehouse located in North Delta, BC.
This is a great administrative position for those looking for opportunities for growth and have an interest in logistics. The role is contract-to-hire, with the potential to be hired into a permanent role with our client including lots of opportunity for career advancement in logistics.
This position offers a pay rate of $19 - $21 / hour, with benefits after probation, and the opportunity to work overtime and pick up extra shifts if you are looking for more hours.

What You Will Receive As An Operations Coordinator

• Starting rate of $19 - 21 / hour with potential for overtime, paid weekly by direct deposit

• Consistent Graveyard schedule (6:30pm - 6:30am)
• Extended Weekends! (Rotating schedule with either 3 or 4 day weekends each week)

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating freight pickups with designated carriers
• Solve any issues that impact inventory accuracy
• Assisting Customer Service and Quality Assurance Coordinator with OS&D (overages, shortages and damages)
• Troubleshoot shipment variances at customer request
• Accurately transact freight receipts and shipments
• Assist Customer Service, Quality Assurance and production as needed

What we're looking for:

• Analytical and organized, ability to process information and compare data on Excel
• Administrative, data entry, and Excel experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess excellent time management skills to manage high volume in a fast-paced environment
• Logistics industry experience an asset
• Ability to work independently and have a self-starter attitude
