About The Role


As a Business Operations Manager, you will support the day-to-day functioning of the Plooto organization, from supporting the execution of our strategic plan to finding ways to improve the efficiency of our people and processes. With a deep understanding of Business Operations, you will be involved in many different areas of the organization, including:


Operations Management:


Lead the development of Plooto’s next iteration of its target operating model (TOM) to support organizational scaling.


Serve as an advisor to internal teams with no operations owner to help them fill project management gaps.


Reporting and Analytics:


Govern the preparation and execution of Plooto's various management reporting systems, including (i) the various business review meetings (weekly, monthly, and quarterly), (ii) Operating Metrics (OMs), and (iii) Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).


Project manage the rollout of OMs to help identify operational bottlenecks, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities, involving the different stakeholders (Team Leads, Finance and Business intelligence & Analytics teams)


Ensure the organization accurately tracks OKRs and their associated trends to develop Exposes which, in turn, generate growth ideas and improve operational efficiencies.


BizOps:


Partner with internal teams to successfully complete cross-functional objectives sponsored by the senior management team.


Gradually build a team of project managers, each of whom would own a portfolio of projects planned for 2024 onwards


Your Background


  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Agile
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • A broad general understanding of many key business functions (ex., finance, marketing, product, engineering, supply chain, human resources, etc.) - and how Business Operations can support them
  • Proficient in using data analysis, project management, and productivity tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret complex data to drive operational improvements
  • A proven experience in business operations, process improvement, or a related role
