Job Description
Our client in Mississauga is looking for a IT Support Specialist - Level 2.


Role


You will report to the CTO and be responsible for Level 1 and 2 IT, Help Desk coverage as well as general IT deployment and support. You will also visit client sites for support and issues.


Work Type


  • In-office
  • Some on-call weekend work
  • Visit client sites as and when required
  • Must have a Car
  • Location: Mississauga plus clients all over GTA

Job Duties


  • Deep working knowledge of operating systems - Windows, OSX, Linux
  • Administration of Office 365: User administration, identity, access 365 license administration Office 365 policy compliance, configuration
  • Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, FortiGate firewalls, and security.
  • PowerShell scripting for Office 365 and Active Directory.
  • Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
  • Assemble, image and configure client workstations, servers, printers, scanners, mobile devices and other peripherals.
  • Support and administer virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware.
  • Installing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop hardware and software including Microsoft's core business applications
  • Support services for Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.


Qualifications


  • 2 years previous experience working in a managed IT services environment
  • Experience with ConnectWise
  • Proven technical, analytical and problem-solving tech support skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • IT Certifications: Cisco/ Microsoft/CompTIA certifications are an asset
