Job Description
A Key Account Manager will be significant to the organizations sustainable, long term-growth. The Key Account Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure positive working relationship with key accounts. Must have the ability to develop a clear strategy and program sturcture to serve and grow strategic accounts. An exceptional candidate must be able to manage multiple key accounts without compromising on the quality of service.


(functions & Responsibilities)


  • Must have a working knowledge of quoting, BOM and ECN.
  • Retain top customers and nurture key relations to protect revenue and help remain competitive.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client’s long-term goals.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure solutions are successfully and timely delivered to customers and according to their specifications.
  • Assist customers and educate them on the benefits of company’s products.
  • Understand and implement technical sales strategies based on competitive selling within mid-market companies.
  • Must be comfortable addressing C-suite executives as well as interdepartmental coordination. Able to build engagement with all the decision makers & program management & purchasing.
  • Must be able to travel to visit exsiting and potential clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Working with design, production, engineering, logistics, managers, other account manager, marketing and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met.
  • Serves as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  • Strategic partner and advisor to the client, discovering new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.
  • Adept at directing customers and managing employees at all levels of business.
  • Grow current relationships & develop new customers.
  • Ensure achievement of sales target and assigned customer budget.
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.


Requirements


  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Analytical and technical skills.
  • Leadership and critical thinking
  • A degree, diploma or relevant experience in business, engineering or a related field.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales.
  • Skilled negotiation.
  • Demonstrates value to customers.
  • Strategic approach in managing accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Process improvement and performance management.
