Job Description

Job Title: Junior MOC Instructor - HR

Location: Borden, Ontario

Division: Learning

Job Type: Contract


Position Overview

We are looking for a Military Instructor with a focus in Human Resources to provide training to reserve and military personnel at the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre (CFLTC) located at CFB Borden.


Responsibilities

  • Using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software (MS Office Suite)
  • Preparing lesson plans
  • Assisting DND by making recommendations and changes to the existing curriculum
  • Operating training simulators, tools, and/or other equipment used in the occupation being instructed or by the institution providing the training
  • Counseling students on their progress
  • Providing instruction in the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a Human Resources Administrator within the military
  • Performing student assessments
  • Maintaining and updating student files
  • Providing safety support by administering immediate first aid to students and unit personnel in the event of an emergency
  • Assisting other instructors in training activities requiring more than one instructor


Qualifications

  • Already hold or be eligible for a Reliability Clearance with PSPC
  • Experience within the Canadian Armed Forces as a Human Resources Administrator (HRA - MOSID 00375)
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen
  • At least two (2) experience instructing / training adult learners in the Human Resources field
