Junior It Business Analyst

On behalf of our client, Affinity is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their IT team to focus on project and application delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Identify business processes in order to identify business requirements and develop well-aligned business solutions.

• Project management tasks (queue grooming, running scrum/ sprint planning, etc.)

• Testing, requirements gathering and documentation for application development.

• Troubleshooting operational issues

• Development work and interfacing with business users on requirements

• Collect, analyze, document, and manage business requirements

• Data visualization and analysis skills (Tableau and SQL)

Qualifications:

• Analytic skills - proficient in one of the following: Microsoft Excel, Tableau or Power BI

• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation related to business processes

• Experience retrieving and manipulating data programmatically (Python, SQL, or other technology)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• A team player who is keen to learn and contribute.

• Perceptive problem solver who wants to think outside of the box & help contribute new solutions
