About the Role: This is a Full-time, Salaried position.


About The Inside Sales Representative

MAD Elevator Inc. Ottawa division: ECR Elevator Cab Renovations designs, manufactures and installs elevator cab interiors and is seeking a Business Process Coordinator to join the team.

Provide customer support by assisting with order configuration, project estimation, and providing advice and solutions to issues using general industry knowledge, while developing and maintaining productive relationships with customers.

Ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, natural ability to build relationships, self-motivator, organized and can work under pressure.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Review project specifications to create accurate and timely generation of sales quotations and proposals.

2. Effectively communicate details of customer orders to various internal teams to ensure all requirements are met.

3. Develop strong and productive relationships with customers.

4. Assist with the preparation of RFP.

5. Receive inbound phone calls to provide customer service, information, and quotations.

6. Enter orders into an ERP system.

7. Sourcing out vendor pricing.

8. Process Sales Orders.

9. Special projects and other duties as required.

10. Must be results oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

11. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

12. Other duties as assigned.

13. Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.

14. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.


Attributes, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience working in a customer facing sales and/or service role
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize with tight deadlines
  • Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Post Secondary Education - Technical Degree/Diploma would be an asset
  • Must possess excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset


This position works out of our Ottawa, Ontario location. Hours are typically 8:00am to 4:30pm with flexibility.
