Job Description

Inside Sales Associate:

Our client in Mississauga is looking for a motivated and well-spoken inside sales associate. As an Inside Sales Associate you be responsible for sourcing new sales through inbound leads, working directly with potential customers to understand their needs, and closing sales.

You will also be responsible for supporting the production of marketing materials; updating client-facing advertising pieces, reports, and presentations; tracking projects and team activities; assisting with client communications and standardizing marketing materials.

To be successful as an inside sales associate you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales associate should also be very competitive and a good listener.


Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making, identify market trends, and improve competitiveness.
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

Inside Sales Representative Requirements:


  • 1-2 years experience in a related sales position.
  • Ability to achieve targets.
  • Experience in the Retail industry.
  • University or college diploma in Business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
