Work Arrangement: Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.


Please note that this is a temporary position for 12 Months.


As ATB's next Business Analyst, you will act as a facilitator and liaison focusing on process analysis, bridging the gap between CXT and our partners. When problem solving, the focus will be on both business and technical aspects and providing insight into the end to end process flows. You will work on troubleshooting all levels of a process ensuring it aligns to the client experience. You will perform data analysis to provide compelling recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch/execute initiatives and optimize operations on an ongoing basis. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all related documentation, ensuring accuracy, and distribution to relevant parties. You will partner with business and/or technical resources to drive solutions that align to ATB's strategy and move the business forward.


The Business Analyst has a solid understanding of business analysis skills/techniques as well as a good foundation of experience utilizing the skills in practice.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in the development of business, technical, scope and requirements documentation, databases, and reporting.
  • Participate in the establishment and continuous review and improvement of Business Analysis standards, procedures, and processes that support the general competencies outlined in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) as appropriate for your position.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team by participating in process reviews and/or providing process modeling services of current state and/or future state.
  • Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, evaluate, and organize information from multiple sources and translate it into decision documents.
  • Flexible agile mentality to be able to pivot and adapt to change.
  • Analyze needs, recommend strategy, formulate action plans and requirements, in improving tools and solutions. Assist in the preparation of a high level project estimate and project timelines.
  • Participate in the development of new tools. Understand their purpose and benefits.
  • Understand the impacts of a project, change or initiative on the end to end process
  • Facilitate conversations and uncover contextual impacts to a wide range or stakeholders
  • Exceptional track record building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with all the project business stakeholders and partners.
  • Produce and deliver effective and professional written materials including presentations to partners and stakeholders.
  • Understand the components of running a fiscally successful project, the necessity of project standards and apply them consistently.
  • Identify core stakeholder groups based on an end to end process analysis
  • Interpret and translate business needs to recommend real-world solutions in realizing ATB's purpose making ‘it' possible for our customers.


Requirements


  • Proven experience with Business Process Management lifecycle and modeling techniques.
  • Working towards or willing to work towards acquiring technical competencies (i.e. Tableau, ARIS, Jira, Lucidcharts, Miro).
  • Working towards or willing to work towards acquiring an IIBA Certification.
  • Proficiency using Google Suite software, particularly G-Mail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
  • Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
  • Post secondary education in a related field, with relevant industry related experience is preferred
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • 2-5 years related experience
  • Passion for continuous innovation and information technology tools and solutions.
