On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst for a 4 - 6 month contract in Edmonton, Alberta.

Intermediate Business Analyst

Infrastructure Operations runs IT infrastructure operations which includes Service Desk, Desktop Support, Server Storage Management and Network Operations. The business analyst will be responsible for the scope of work as described below:

• Workflow review and update
• SharePoint Setup
• Review/Update existing process and documentation
• Asset Discovery
• Develop/update templates as needed.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Development of process documentation
• Implement operational changes and develop associated operational templates and process documentation.
• Implement/update process as required.
• Update Operational Process to Maintain Data
• Asset Management functions including:
• Data Review and Consolidation

Intermediate Business Analyst Mandatory Skills

• Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills with ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to pick up projects mid-stream, be a self-started requiring minimal supervision.
• Experience in managing, presenting and conducting customer and internal operational group meetings at all levels of management.
• Understanding of the approaches to systems development, integration, and implementation.
• University degree or equivalent.
• Have a high degree of initiative, thought leadership, and the ability to work in a collaborative manner.
• Experience working with customers and ensuring that providing good customer service is a priority.
• Strong analytical skills and a disciplined approach to Improvement.
• High tolerance for changing priorities.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience in information technology.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliverables at the same time.
