Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems Architecture, the Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer will have a deep understanding of Analytics solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing story telling solutions utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Synapse Analytics.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making across our organization by developing robust and visually compelling business intelligence solutions.
This position will be based remotely.
What You Will Be Working On

• Provide expertise and guidance in data analytics, helping teams leverage data for business insights and improvements using Power BI.
• Design and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines for efficient data integration and transformation in Power BI.
• Develop, design, and implement business intelligence solutions using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, quality, and reliability.
• Establish and execute a Center of Excellence for Business Intelligence and Analytics, defining best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power BI development.
• Provide input to the enterprise architecture team on Power BI reporting patterns and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new Analytics technologies and tools, with a focus on Power BI.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and ensure project success using Power BI.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Power BI and other Microsoft technologies such as MS Synapse Analytics and the MS Power Platform.
• Conduct data analysis and performance tuning to optimize Power BI solution performance.

What We Are Looking For

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends, particularly in Power BI, MS Synapse Analytics, and the MS Power Platform
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer, with a strong focus on Power BI
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration, specifically using Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions using Power BI
• Certification in Power BI preferred
• Experience in establishing and managing a BI Center of Excellence, with expertise in Power BI implementation and data governance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven track record in designing and developing impactful reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of SQL, data querying, and scripting languages
