Description
- Oversee the hiring process including screening applicants' resumes, performing candidate background checks, and job postings
- Maintain employment records for new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
- Update internal policies and procedures under the general guidance of the HR leadership team
- Administer benefits and open enrollment programs
- Manage scheduling and conduct candidate interviews
- Manage new hire orientation and onboarding
- Prior knowledge or experience in HR or recruiting
- Understanding of federal, state, and local laws
- Proficient with office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills are a must
- May require a bachelor's degree in HR or a professional certification in human resources, business management, or a related field
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR procedures and functions, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and managing employee relations
