IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

• Define, implement and execute the AFR strategy for Canada
• Performs negotiation of key contracts with carriers
• Takes ownership of Air Freight P&L and works closely with Country finance teams to ensure budgets and forecasts are met
• Ensures optimization of network procurement and implementation of all consolidation opportunities
• Manager and drive the performance of the AFR Product team
• Creates, develops and maintains good relationships with service providers, while facilitating negotiations of best rates at country level
• Sets, communicates and follows KPIs to ensure constant improvement of capacity management
• Participate as a member of the Senior Management team for the Country Strategy
• Support the business on strategies to grow the product and increase market share

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• In depth knowledge of forwarding business, with specific experience in Air Freight
• Strong analytical ability to assess and monitor data and prepare market and customer reports for the business
• Strong understanding of the Market
• Excellent organizational ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Ideally post-secondary education and Management experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills,
