Position Overview
As part of the new operating model in SGRE, we are looking for a strong person to manage and lead the central Service EQS function. Within this role you will have a significant impact on how we as a business drive Quality, Health, Safety & Environment to the next level. In the function you will be responsible to implement the strategic actions developed for your area of responsibility to achieve our overall goals set by SGRE.
You will be managing a function within the Service Business Unit reporting to the Service Business Unit CEO and will be a central person for all EQS related matters toward the Service Regions, Customer Technology Solutions, Supply chain/Spares and Operations Service activities across the world. It will also be the interface with the central EQS governance organization.
Implements overarching EQS mission and strategy, and ensures implementation of related EQS policies, guidelines, country requirements and projects for all assigned areas. This by following legal HSE requirements and quality industry standards and adopting an industry leading approach to effectively manage current and future Quality & HSE risk in a green safe and with high quality way by employing a life cycle approach.
Acts as EQS consultant for own organization and BU management including providing transparency of EQS performance and Implements global standard for Service
Responsibilities
  • Drive transparency and harmonization in EQS related activities across the regions and global functions of the BU SE to enable prioritization and implementation of improvements.
  • Establish in cooperation with central EQS functions and SE regions the yearly audit program. Support the operational units by conducting process audits focused on new product introduction and service execution
  • Supporting with people management topics like HC controlling, promotions, talent program, competence development and placement of management positions in EQS organization in SE
  • Promote best practice sharing across EQS functions
  • Discuss and evaluate change request for processes, standards, instructions, and software from EQS functions in SE. IF approved initiate changes with EQS GOV-EXE.
  • Support operational business in selected operational topics. Governance and deployment of supplier quality standards and procedures. Overall management of supplier audit schedule. Supplier performance monitoring. Improvement actions as derived from performance. Contractual setups. Strategic Contractor management and development
  • Coordination of major quality and HSE incidents and approval authority for all "stop work" orders impacting SE.
  • Independent authority for escalations. Supporting a robust decision-making process by providing an independent view to EQS heads and operational heads in SE. As part of the authority of EQS in the Service value chain, assessing the status and maturity of the organization to request improvement programs from central EQS
  • Representing operational units in the problem-solving boards to ensure approval of milestones and quality of problem solving. Proving independent analysis of system data to support the decision process of starting new problem-solving project.
Required Knowledge, Education, Experience, And Skills 
  • Nebosh Diploma, CQI or additional certifications preferred
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Bachelors Degree in QM, HSE, or related field
  • Engineering Background Preferred
