We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Evening Fulfillment Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the evening shift operations of our fulfillment center. Your primary focus will be to ensure efficient order processing, reception of supplier orders, and effective team management. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for optimizing processes to meet customer expectations.


Responsibilities:


  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure accurate reception, picking, and packing products. Conduct regular audits to maintain order accuracy and minimize errors.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Supervise Evening Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the evening shift in the fulfillment center, ensuring smooth and efficient processes for order fulfillment, packaging, and shipping.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a safe working environment and promote safe practices among team members.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of fulfillment associates, providing clear directions, setting performance goals, and conducting regular performance evaluations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Reconcile inventory discrepancies, optimize space utilization in the fulfillment center, and collaborate with the supply chain team to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Order Processing: Work closely with scheduler and day shift supervisor to track and prioritized planned orders
  • Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to fulfillment associates, ensuring their continuous growth and development.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, such as picking productivity, on-time delivery, and first pass yield. Take corrective actions when necessary to meet or exceed performance targets.


Qualifications


  • Technological Proficiency: Comfortable working with computer systems, inventory management software, and warehouse management systems. Experience with fulfillment software and automation technologies is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Experience in leading and managing a diverse group of employees effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and quality control.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve operational issues, implement process improvements, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fulfillment or warehouse environment, with a focus on order processing, packaging, and shipping. Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.
