Ecommerce Fulfillment Supervisor Jobs

Post-Secondary degree (or in the process of attaining) in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in order fulfillment management, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail environment.

Strong knowledge of order management systems (OMS), inventory management systems (IMS), and e-commerce platforms.

Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes, including carrier negotiations and transportation management.

Work within our Freshline systems to manage orders and presentation of products on the ecommerce ordering site.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance the customer experience.

Ensure supervisors responsibilities are followed;

Manage, delegate and coordinate the work within the team according to the objectives set;

List and document absences, delays or behaviour problems and notify the manager when an intervention is required (disciplinary opinion);

Make suggestions to the Manager of shipping in terms of time, organization of teams and manpower needs;

Support the Shipping Manager with mounting reports and shipping data;

Technical education (3-year college diploma);

Other tasks deemed suitable based on knowledge and experience as required by the CAN DC Departmental Supervisor or General Manager

Carry out Equipment Operator general responsibilities and duties as and when required

Experienced in a Distribution/warehouse environment

Knowledge of IN - OUTBOUND logistics flow

Experience with WMS and RF scanners

Sound IT skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.

Order Processing: Work closely with scheduler and day shift supervisor to track and prioritized planned orders

Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to fulfillment associates, ensuring their continuous growth and development.

Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve operational issues, implement process improvements, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and quality control.

ECommerce Fulfillment Supervisor , Required Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of experience working in an e-commerce warehouse environment

Demonstrated supervisory skills, methods and techniques as it pertains to warehouse operations

Experience operating powered material handling equipment (pallet truck, reach truck, counter-balance forklift) is an asset

Strong written & verbal communication skills

Help coordinate the end to end fulfillment process of orders, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
