Part-Time to start (20-hour work week)

$50,000 – $65,000 depending on experience
The Ecommerce Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely processing and fulfillment of online customer orders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The Ecommerce Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from order receipt to delivery confirmation, while maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing operational efficiency.
Order Processing and Management:
- Coordinate with the internal team to resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies.
- Receive, review, and process online customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor order queues and ensure that orders are prioritized and fulfilled according to established service level agreements.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Work within our Freshline systems to manage orders and presentation of products on the ecommerce ordering site.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate stock levels, availability, and product information on the website.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize errors, discrepancies, and shrinkage.
Shipping and Logistics:
- Ensure orders are packed, labeled, and shipped correctly, adhering to quality standards and shipping regulations.
- Monitor and optimize shipping costs while maintaining delivery timelines and service levels.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics partners to schedule and track shipments.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Analyze order fulfillment metrics and identify areas for improvement or potential bottlenecks.
- Generate regular reports on order status, fulfillment efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate order fulfillment processes.
Team Management:
- Lead and supervise the team to assist with order fulfillment, providing guidance and minor training.
- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance the customer experience.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent order fulfillment operations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and streamlining to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- A willingness and ability to jump in and assist the team around the facility during slow periods.
- Proven experience in order fulfillment management, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in using relevant software applications, including MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of order management systems (OMS), inventory management systems (IMS), and e-commerce platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Post-Secondary degree (or in the process of attaining) in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes, including carrier negotiations and transportation management.
