Our expectations

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Inventory Financial Analyst will be responsible of participating in the analysis of the Supply Chain group`s activities. In collaboration with other finance teams, the Financial Analyst will also have the role of supporting their internal clients to achieve the financial objectives by following the monthly results, forecast, budget and strategic planning.

Your role

• Forecast and budget working capital impact of inventory accounts, obsolescence and On-Hand inventory
• Month-end variance analysis & reviews.
• Participate in putting in place financial planning models for forecast, budget and strategic planning processes.
• Provide support to the Supply Chain/Demand and replenishment team in the implementation of action plans and monitor results.
• Monitor and report on slow movers and obsolete inventory
• Support the organization by following different projects involving Supply Chain/ Demand planning (PLR, Wedges).
• Act as a financial business partner to the Supply Chain/Demand planning operational team.
• Analyze and interpret financial results and KPI`s.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchases

The Qualifications We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role
• Experience with Retail, Inventory and/or Supply Chain is an asset
• We require all our head office associates to be proficient in French, spoken and written.
• Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly growing and rapidly changing environment
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and presentation skills to leadership team
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Undergraduate university education in finance, accounting or economics.
• Self-motivated and result oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
• Excellent knowledge of IT tools including Excel
