The Opportunity

You will be tasked with the responsibility to design, deploy and maintain the digital platform that provides exceptional and innovative financial service experiences for millions of Canadian credit union members using a variety of digital channels (desktop, mobile, voice, etc). Your team orientation will contribute to determining needs of our credit union clients and finding creative ways to solve their business challenges and seek to maximize their business objectives.

A Day in the Life

• Provide support for test and production systems including problem management, release management and adhere to change management procedures.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the platform for both internal and for external customers
• Support quality assurance and/or user acceptance testing that includes assisting business analysts with the execution of their test scripts/plans, resolving reported issues, preparations for implementation and automated testing tools.
• Support system implementation, including development and execution of a detailed technical implementation plan.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• In an Agile and DevOps team environment, you will perform a wide range of tasks relating to designing, deploying and supporting the infrastructure and applications of integrations & digital banking in an Azure cloud-hosted environment.

Your Resume

• Azure Virtual Network Manager & Services
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Ability to look at code and read server logs to troubleshoot issues
• Scripting experience such as Azure CLI, PowerShell, YAML, Bicep & Arm
• Linux experience an asset
• Azure Resource Hierarchy including Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups
• Azure Key Vault
• Understanding of microservices architecture, component design, object oriented programming and design patterns
• Relational database experience & Query Languages with SQL Server, SQL MI, KQL (additional nice to have is Oracle Exadata).
• Containerization in Azure using (AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Argo, Grafana, GitOps) an asset
• Relevant Azure certifications an asset (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400)
• Selenium experience an asset
• Bachelor Degree in computer science or a technical diploma from a college or recognized technical institute (a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered) accompanied with 3+ years of related experience and a history of growth and role progression in the field.
• Experience with delivering and supporting complex public web properties including things such as
• Experience with WCF an assset
• Experience working with Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, and ASP.NET applications at scale with high degrees of management automation
• Azure Monitoring Services
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Services at scale
• Azure DevOps (Pipelines, automation jobs, triggers, nuget repositories)

• Ability to liaise with various teams such as project management, product management, development, etc.
• Experience working with and supporting Content Management tools (nice to have is experience with Umbraco CMS)
• Experience working with and liaison with Infrastructure teams on High Availability, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Storage including ability to triage cross functional issues
• Experience with supporting and troubleshooting a highly connected platform with many partners/API's, including experience with API Gateways or ESB's
• Experience with CI/CD and empowering others to manage and deliver releases/change supporting complex development eco-systems with internal and external parties
• Experience delivering, publishing and supporting multiple Mobile Apps in each App store
• Experience working with and liaison with Security teams including solutions and responses for Identity Management, DoS/DDoS, reCaptcha, Phishing/Smishing, native Device security controls like TouchID/FaceID and MFA such as One-Time-Passcodes
• Experience and desire to become a application capability expert and configuration facilitator for a financial platform including concepts such as onboarding workflows, limit groups, audit tools and permissions
