ASSOCIATE RELATIONS ADVISOR

What is an Associate Relations Advisor?

This role is responsible for providing guidance and assistance to Associates and Managers within the organization on Associate Relations matters.

What will you be doing?

  • Analyzes investigation findings, evaluates risk and provides recommendations for remedial measures to management and senior leaders based on legislative standards and risk
  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and senior leaders on GoodLife’s internal policies and Employment Standards Act legislation interpretation, including proper administration for all provinces
  • Produces letters and other documentation for Associate disciplinary issues, termination, accommodations, and other situations as required
  • Inputs data into various tracking tools on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Completes investigation reports
  • Advises Managers on disciplinary and/or termination situations
  • Provides advice and counsel to managers and senior leaders on performance management, leaves of absence, workplace accommodations, investigation outcomes, and attendance management
  • Conducts workplace investigations into complaints of harassment, bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, and fraud/theft
  • Responds to Associate questions and assisting with work-related concerns, workplace accommodation requests, safety concerns and other situations

Do you have what it takes?

  • Some college or university in Human Resources field
  • Working toward CHRP or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1+ years in Employee Relations and/or Human Resources role
